Pilates @ Jow Ga Group Classes
Group classes are available both on Sydney's North Shore and in our Central Sydney Surry Hills studio.... just a few minutes walk from the either the city or Central Railway. We teach martial artists and the general public...everyone is welcome.

Group classes at Pilates @ Jow Ga run in course format throughout the year so that participants can learn and progress through the exercises at a steady pace, gaining strength as you go. Courses include Elemental Pilates, Pregnancy Pilates, Pilates Flow and Power Pilates. At every level pilates props such as the foam roller, ball, band and ring, are introduced to enhance the workout and add challenge and variety. Class numbers are small so that your instructor can assist and/or challenge participants appropriately.

Elemental Pilates is our beginner level, run from time to time according to demand. Here participants learn the basic exercises and principles of pilates and begin to develop the key aspects of core mobility, stability & strength.

Pilates for Pregnancy is a specialist pilates-based exercise course suitable for women at all stages of pregnancy. Maintain and enhance core stability, flexibility and improve posture. Work important pelvic floor muscles and strengthen arms, legs, shoulders, back and buttocks. Relaxation is included at every session.

Pilates Flow is an open level class suitable for beginner to intermediate+ levels. Classes are taught at a continuous flowing pace with options for challenge and progressions for everyone. Participants will gain core stability, control, increased strength and the understanding of the benefits of a neutral spine.

Power Pilates is our Intermediate Plus level designed to challenge those with prior pilates training experience. Here it is assumed that participants know the elemental exercises so that movement can flow from one sequence into the next without detailed demonstration or explanation. Intermediate to advanced exercises are learned and practised. Understanding and application of pilates practices such as neutral spine, pelvic-lumbar control and shoulder girdle stabilisation are fundamental.

You can train with Pilates @ Jow Ga with minimal expense and no long term commitment.
General Outline of Pricing:

      $150 - Term of 10 classes

      $260 - Premium Pass - Term of 20 classes or more

      $170 - Prenatal Pilates Term of 10 specialised classes

      $ 18 - Casual Class

      $ 77 - 1 hour Personal Session

Prior to training a health clearance may be required for participants with injuries or prior medical conditions. Group classes are unsuitable for participants with significant back problems - here our personal one-on-one sessions are recommended.
